BRIDAL SERVICES FAQ
WHY IS IMPORTANT TO HIRE A MAKE-UP ARTIST FOR MY WEDDING?
Because we have the experience and knowledge, we create a stress-free, convenient environment. You want everything to be perfect on the day of your wedding. The last thing you need to stress about is making sure your makeup looks right. Relax; hire our BlushArtist that will come to you. With experience and skill, our BlushArtists can create a look for you that fits you, your personality, and enhances your natural beauty!
HOW DO I BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING / EVENT? (ask kd)
A booking fee of $50 is required in order to secure your event date as booked. The booking fee is a payment that apply towards the total cost of services. No date will be held without a booking fee. A signed contract as well as 50% of the total cost of bridal services (trial, day-of makeup, etc.) is required at the time of your bridal makeup trial. The remaining balance is due on the wedding / event day. Bridal party payments are due at the time of service.
DO YOU OFFER BRIDAL CONSULTATIONS? IF SO, WHAT IS THE PROCESS OF THAT?
We do offer bridal consultations and would highly recommend it! During the trial, we will discuss and sample out the makeup style you have chosen and tweak it to fit you and make any changes if necessary. With the consultation, it will also allow you to wear the makeup for the day and see how it feels and holds up in preparation for your wedding day. Then come day of your wedding, we would have the look nailed down already and everything will be a breeze!
HOW SOON SHOULD I BOOK MY CONSULTATION?
While some brides book six months or more in advance, we suggest you book your consultation no later than three to four months before your wedding day.
WHAT SIZE PARTY CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE? (ask KD)
Each artist can do up to 8 people comfortably provided we have enough time. It all depends on what time you must be ready. We usually would add on additional makeup artists and hairstylist to assist
I AM NOT SURE WHAT MAKEUP LOOK I WANT ON MY SPECIAL DAY, CAN YOU HELP?
Yes absolutely! We suggest you begin looking through Pinterest or other social media outlets and finding several make-up photos that you like. During your bridal consultation, we will create a look based on what you like that will fit you, and help you create the look you are hoping to achieve, from vintage to modern to natural. We will also help you identify and accentuate your most flattering features to reveal your natural beauty.
WHAT IF I WANT TO BOOK A CONSULTATION TO DECIDE IF I WANT TO BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
You are more than welcome to book a consultation to decide if you want to book our services. Most people know just by looking at our work and past reviews that they want to book us. If you are still unsure, we can book your trial run beforehand. Just remember that doing a trial run does not secure your date. If someone else calls and is ready to book before your consultation your date might get taken.
DO I COME TO YOU, OR DO YOU TRAVEL TO MY LOCATION?
We will do whatever works best for you. We have some clients that come to us, but most clients want us to come to their location for their big day. Coming to you helps to reduce time and stress for that day and helps things flow smoothly for you. However, we want you to be most comfortable so whatever works best for you.
